Art of the Vessel

Art of the Vessel explores the vessel as subject through four distinct mediums. Featured artists: Cindy Kennelly, Britt Jones, Duke Stafford and Devin Kish.

About Cindy Kennelly

Cindy Kennelly is a felting artist who creates 2D and 3D objects out of sheep’s wool. She uses a wet felting method where she lays down sheep's wool, adds olive oil soap and water and agitates the wool until it becomes a fabric. Cindy loves to work with luxurious wool and often adds silks, fabrics, and yarn into her work.

Cindy has created vibrant, one-of-a-kind felt vessels for E. Drumm Designs.

About Britt Jones

Britt's work for "Art of the Vessel" features bold, semi-abstract oil paintings. As a gardener and collector of vases, jars, and bottles, her work centers around the found objects and flowers she arranges in her studio. Britt's work is sold in artisan stores in Boston and surrounding towns, with her studio based in Stow, Massachusetts.

About Duke Stafford

Duke attended his first pottery class 15 years ago. He has explored both hand building and the wheel as well as multiple types of firing techniques. Duke created a unique one of a kind pit fired collection for this show.

About Devin Kish

Devin is a multi-disciplinary artist from Littleton, Massachusetts. He has had several shows with E. Drumm Designs as a featured artist. Focusing on oil painting and video art, he explores the absurdity of internet culture, anthropomorphic cartoons, clowns, and the classic figure.
