The latest show at E. Drumm Designs, "Outside the Lines" will feature Acton-based ceramic artist Nicole Aguillano. Elisa first came across Nicole's work at the Benefit Street RISD show years (and years) ago (both Elisa and Nicole are RISD alum). Elisa bought a piece from Nicole and has watched her career grow. Nicole's work has been featured in stores like Anthropologie and the RISD Museum shop.
Elisa was delighted to reconnect with Nicole. We're thrilled to represent her work for this special show, opening May 24, 2025. Her show-exclusive pieces will feature images of Acton locations.
And Nicole isn't the only Acton-based creative that Elisa has reconnected with. Amy Wiechmann, owner of HOME in West Acton Village, and Elisa go way back. Elisa, a textile designer, and Amy, a painter and fine artist, first worked together on a clothing line in the 90s. As their respective artistic paths diverged, they came together by change once again in 2023, each sharing their experiences of owning creative businesses in town.
West Acton represents a community of artists and women-owned businesses working together to lift each other up; and E. Drumm Designs is proud to be a part of this community of friends old and new. Thank you for continuing to support us!
